She has acted in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi films. Although she started out in Telugu movies, she became famous after the Tamil film Engal Anna opposite Vijayakanth. She starred in Tamil Film "Aai" the song "Arjuna Arjuna" along with Sarath Kumar, which ended up as a big hit.this movie dubbed in hindi as Nayi Baazi (going to release very soon).
